Pilates is a highly refined form of physical exercise, that uses mat exercises, as well as work with specialised equipment and machines, to improve physical strength and well-being.
In this workshop for Pilates beginners, Balanced Body University-qualified Pilates teacher and Future Form Founder, Jenny Backlund-Jenkins, will guide participants through the essential techniques and principles that underpin Pilates practice. This is a fantastic place to start for anyone wishing to discover the Pilates method with a view to becoming a regular practitioner.
The workshop will last two hours, with refreshments and Q&A at the end.
Jenny Backlund-Jenkins, ex-professional dancer, Balanced Body University-qualified Pilates teacher and creator of the Ballet Form method, for an in-depth workshop, focusing on the key classical dance and Pilates components underpinning Ballet Form. This workshop is accessible to complete beginners, wanting to discover the dance-Pilates sensation that is taking shape at Future Form. The workshop will last 1 hour 30 minutes, with refreshments and Q&A at the end.
